Beautiful and friendly hotel in the most interesting and vibrant part of this charming town. The staff is beyond incredible - most helpful, friendly and accommodating. They satisfied every wish and whim. For example, as vegans, we were served a special breakfast, with the chef bringing local veggies from her own garden (try chayotes!) and making delicious dishes just for us. Beautiful rooms. What a great place! You have to stay there when in San Cristobal.
Without doubt the best hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas! Besides being extremely beautiful and unique, the location is absolutely not to compete with. It's walking distance to everything in the city. We even got the most delicious breakfast in bed in our beautiful room to very reasonable prices. The best thing about this hotel though was the service all of the staff were super helpful, kind and smiley. The only problem about this hotel is that you don't want to leave.. Ever We thank you so much for one of the best experiences, we will definitely be back

We had an excellent meal here. When we first came in the TV was on and the music was loud and club-style : I asked them to turn off the TV and change the music and they did immediately. Everything was fresh and creative - The nopales appetiser, corn soup and broccoli were particularly good.
This place was beautiful I loved everything about it. The food was amazing, the interior, the service!! You NEED to go to this restaurant if you are in San Cristobal. You definitely should try the Eggplant Parmesean, it was sooo good that I am for sure going back to have it once more before I leave Chiapas. For desserts, I loved the cheesecake and lemon pie , but if you were to choose one go with the Lemon! It tasted amazing!!!
We visited the restaurant.. Beautiful presentation of the food. Banana empanadas were perfect. Green salad with fruits and goat cheese was delicious. Very friendly service and the place is so beautiful with a green patio and calm music. Thank you so much
Best Hotel Experience in ALL of Chiapas!!!! I brought my mother to Mexico to celebrate her 77th birthday (was her first time visiting Mexico) and the staff at Casa Lum went out of their way to make it special and an unforgettable experience. All of the staff from check in, housekeepers and restaurant were so genuine and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and relaxing, the rooms are spacious and well designed, and the food was amazing. My mother and I felt so welcomed by everyone and we felt very at home during our stay. I also arranged a massage for my mom via the hotel and they sent a wonderful gentleman named Pedro. My mother says it was the best message she’s ever had. Back in April I received devastating news that I have stage 4 cancer and honestly I wasn’t sure this trip was even going to be possible…thankfully I was able to take my mother on this trip and with the help from the amazing people at casa Lum….this really was a once in a lifetime trip. It will always mean so much to my mother and I and if I’m able to next year….we will return to San Cristobal and Casa Lum. I have so much gratitude for all of the staff at Casa Lum, for they truly are the best!
I accidentally picked this hotel and am so pleased. It's outstandingly located near highly rated restaurants, multiple churches, and excursion start points. The staff is attentive and ready to fulfill all requests with the utmost respect and kindness. It's true Mexican hospitality. And the breakfasts are a delicious start to the day!
